I had no idea cats could play fetch! Does she really bring it back to you and drop it so you can throw it again? How fun!

Sheryl: Yes, she will bring it back so you can throw it again. You can tell when she's growing tired/bored, though, as she drops the mouse farther and farther away from you. ☺

That's very cute!! I love cats, they are not as friendly or loyal as dogs are, but I find them funnier somehow

Toy or the real deal?!

Heather said...

Gabriel: Friendliness depends on the animal. One friend has a cat that hides whenever anyone but "Mom" is in the house, while others come running to see who's there. This particular kitty had a bad rep at the shelter because she didn't like the cage, all those other animals in one room, or loud noise, but is actually as friendly as can be.

Colleen: They better not be real ones! :-P~~

She looks like she knows how talented she is. ;-)

Olivia: Oh, yes -- she is one smart kitty and she knows it. Sometimes too smart for her own good!

Mine was carrying a dead mouse the other day. He was SO proud.
YUCK!

Cute!

I have a mouser like that. Only she uses live mice.

Sweet! We have a cat that used to do the "fetch" trick with those little sparkly balls. But he's not as interested now that he's older. He still has his "games," though. Cute photo. Cute kitty!

Sue: Yeah, that's the sort of gift I do NOT want. Bad enough we had two dead ones at work just before NYE.

Kristin: And she knows it, too, LOL. ☺

Alice: I prefer the toy kind, TYVM, as does her Mommy.

Beth: Like your kitty, Ziva's big brother used to play fetch, too -- only with milk rings -- but is not as interested now he is 12. He still plays, just not as much as his 3-yr-old sister.

I love the stalkerish pose and expression. She looks like a prized mouser. ;-)

Jana: She is normally a very good mouser, but she seemed to
prefer cuddling to playing when I was over there this weekend. Not that I was complaining about that. *G*
