Skywatch Friday 111

A storm moves through, 13 July 2015

We started the day with blue skies and some clouds . . .

In the afternoon, the storm clouds moved through the area -- the north side of town saw more rain than we did, making for some interesting skies and cloud formations looking towards the north.

Is that France I see in the sky? How fitting for the day before Bastille Day.

A beautiful sunset glimped through the trees.

It's true that we have to have rain to appreciate the sunshine and that sunset is proof! Awesome shots.

I had a friend who threw a party every Bastille day. He's not French. I could never understand his insistence, but always enjoyed the party.

Thanks, Eileen!

Spare Parts: Isn't it interesting?

LadyFi: Thank you!

BettyL: Thank you. I would have appreciated a bit of rain yesterday, but it keeps drifting just south of us lately.

Alice: Nothing wrong with a Bastille Day party -- there's a neighborhood here in town that hosts one every year.
