How in the world does horse back riding burn calories? LOL! Great TT, Heather.

I've ridden horses and it takes a lot of muscle strength to stay on, plus grooming and lifting tack and things. So I can see where it would burn calories. Great list if you're healthy enough to do those things.

Jennifer: It's all that bouncing up and down, plus muscle strength. ;-)

Anita: I've never done more than a trail ride, but I'm betting that anything above that takes a lot more strength and stamina. I much prefer to walk or ride a bike. ☺

Good post. This reminds me I should exercise more. I think I might go for a walk around the neighborhood. :)

I pick swimming every time! Except for when I pick dancing!

Most of these will make me red in the face very quickly.

Can I just walk? How many calories for that? ;)

Mia: Thank you -- I hope you enjoyed your walk!

Colleen: I used to love swimming, but the lakes are too full of toxic blue-green algae most the summer, and I stopped frequenting the pool at the apartment complex where I used to live because it was always too full of unsupervised and unruly brats.

Alice: I used to enjoy a few of these. I can't bowl anymore as it is hard on my neck, and it's been a couple years since I attempted badminton and volleyball.

LOL -- walking id my preferred activity, too -- that was a T13 of a couple weeks ago. ☺
