Thursday Thirteen 387: Walking the Military Ridge

Some photos from a walk along part of the Military Ridge Trail, Aug 14, 2015 . . .

Cupflower

Primrose

Another primrose blossom

The sky started out cloudy, but had cleared by the
time I had walked an hour and a half.

Water Smartweed

Purple Coneflowers

The clearing sky -- it was much more comfortable
and not as hot walking while it was cloudy!

An inchworm

Lovely pictures. I hope it wasn't as hot as here - I barely managed to get round the block!

Thanks, Elmo -- it was a warm day, but before noon and with heavy clouds, so it wasn't too bad.

Thanks, Beth -- it was the first time I had walked there, despite how often I am over at a friend's who lives in the neighborhood.

Lea -- Thank you!
