Skywatch Friday 128

We had our first snow of the season last Friday night and Saturday morning. Here are a few pics I took, mostly through the front window of a friend's house.

Taken Friday night, Nov 20, during the snow storm

Taken Saturday morning, Nov 21, still snowing

Weathering the storm

Ziva (friend's cat) watches the activity at the bird feeders

A squirrel gets blasted by gusting wind and swirling snow

He doesn't seem to mind the cold a bit

Snow is pretty, but I don't want to have to drive in it!
I'm so far south we sometimes go all winter without snow.

Lea: It's looking like we might see less of it this year than we usually do. On the downside, we are seeing more rain, which means icy roads at night. :-\

These are all great but that first pic...wow.

Enjoy all that snow. It's currently 61 degrees, here. haha

SNOW?? What snow? That snow we had in November lasted all of a couple days. It is currently 50 degrees outside. In December! It's not looking like we'll see a white Christmas this year. :(

Makes me cold just looking at it. Or maybe that's just the lack of insulation in my house around the area of my office.

It was cold -- and now we may hit 60 on Sunday. Weird weather this year.
