This week’s teaser comes from a cozy mystery and a new-to-me author. Death of a Dapper Snowman is the first book in Angela Pepper's "Stormy Day" series.
The snowman's head split in my hands, revealing a core that was definitely not snow. I shrieked and dropped the split pieces.
(Chapter 2)
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Series: Stormy Day #1
Gift shop owner Stormy Day is settling into her new life until she comes across a frozen body, hidden inside a well-dressed snowman.
When her own father is implicated in the murder, Stormy must chase down clues and uncover the town's secrets herself.
As she draws closer to identifying the killer, Stormy's own life may be in danger. That is unless Jeffrey, the mischievous Russian Blue cat who led her to the icy body in the first place, can flick his sleek gray tail at the final piece in the puzzle.

That sounds like a really good one!
Ummm...I'm afraid to learn what was inside the snowman's head. Very intriguing, though!
My TT
Lea: For a first book in a series, it wasn't bad. The snowman angle was definitely unique.
Vonnie: I'm sure you can guess what might have been inside. It wasn't pretty. *WEG*
My imagination is too good. I felt like screaming and dropping the pieces too.
Yes, after that I should probably feel grateful no large snowmen have popped up this week in our neighborhood. *g*
