Day one -- the cat's head takes shape . . . |
This particular piece is called "Meooow.com". |
Of all the designs I have done in this series, the slope of the cat's back in this one was the most difficult I've had to puzzle out. |
The backstitching started out slow on this one . . . |
I made the most progress on Easter Sunday. I put in a series of movies and just stitched, stitched, stitched all day long. |
Gotta love the 1990's era computer monitor! (design is from 1992) |
Washed, ironed, mounted and ready for framing. |
Detail work of the flowers, which were more difficult than they look. |
Framed and ready for wrapping! |
I think she likes it. |

That is so stinkin' adorable it makes me want one of my own! Squeee!!! :D
Oh, there's a lot going on there. You almost had me stumped!
What great work! Very well done.
Love seeing the progression. What a cute pattern, too!
Rachel: Thank you.
Kimberly: Aw, shucks...glad you like. :)
Colleen: Starting in the middle meant beginning with the extended leg/paw, and when my one manager saw just that part of it, she said it looked like an unraveling skein of black floss, LOL. Getting the arch in the back was the hardest part about this one.
Anita: Thanks! :D
Jana: Thank you. I'm glad I was able to find this one online.
