Skywatch Friday 146

From a visit to the UW Arboretum, Sunday, 17 April 2016 -- the magnolia trees were the big stars that weekend, though there is much more in bloom now -- including their famed lilac trees.

The Leopold Pines separate Curtis Prairie and the
UW Arboretum from the Beltline Highway

The Leopold Pines have a lot of appeal even with flashier trees around them.

Thanks, Lea!

Nastya: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit.

Alice: They aren't a large patch of woods, just a strip between Curtis Prairie and the Beltline, but I do like them.
