Speaking about rain, after a month of very little we are now getting bucket loads. Makes me wish I'd done everything I'd planned to with concrete weeks ago.
Alice: Yes, a lot of places are getting too much of the stuff now. A lot of the storms tend to peter out after crossing the Mississippi, so they're either not as bad by the time they reach us, or we get a little bit of rain, but generally not the heavy volumes other areas are seeing. We did have more than two inches yesterday, but it was a steady, all-day kind of ground-soaker.
