This week's teaser comes from Third Girl by Agatha Christie. Though this was my first reading, I saw a movie adaptation staring David Suchet and Jemima Rooper a few years ago — long enough ago that I could not remember all the details, only that the dénouement hinged on a portrait.
"I think there might be danger. Danger to anyone who goes poking about where they are not wanted. There is murder in the air — I do not want it to be yours."

I remember 'Third Girl' - Hercule Poirot and Mrs. Oliver - very enjoyable mystery!
I love both odd duck and Poirot stories. I should dig this one up.
