Skywatch Friday 199

Saturday evening (June 24) as I made my way home for work, I hoped the rain would hold off until I got home. Of course it didn't. But, while I did get wet walking home from the bus stop, I was not soaked as I would have been a mere ten minutes later. About an hour after that round we had another, lighter shower come through and this time we were rewarded. I happened to glance out my front window to see this:

Naturally I had to grab the camera and run outside. Unfortunately, due to all the trees and buildings, and being at the foot of a hill, I wasn't able to capture the entire span, but here are more of the pics I was able to get before this huge double rainbow disappeared.

Very cool. The only thing better than a rainbow is a double rainbow. And you got such a big chunk of it also.

Thanks, Yogi! And yes, a fairly good bit of it, considering all the trees and buildings in my area.
