The Marine and Me

Psych! Yeah, I wish there were a real-live flesh and blood marine in my life. Guess I'll have to settle for Cathie Linz’s long-awaited THE MARINE AND ME (Silhouette Romance), which is finally in stores and getting great reviews! And is this a gorgeous cover or what?

In U.S. Marine Steve Kozlowski’s opinion, trust was a four-letter word. So when his matchmaking Polish grandmother attempted to set him up with the sexy, spirited girl-next-door, Steve proposed he and Chloe Johnson join forces and simply pretend to be falling in love. But, like some of his toughest missions, this one wasn’t going exactly according to plan.

Here’s what people are saying about Cathie’s latest Marine:

"4 Stars! CATHIE LINZ delivers her customary chuckles in THE MARINE AND ME, but balances them nicely with strong emotion. Steve's a keeper!" --Romantic Times

"wonderful, heartwarming, downright pleasurable reading!" --The Best Reviews

"You can't help but root for the two loveable and realistic characters. With a touch of humor added in, Cathie Linz has a winner with The Marine and Me." --CataRomance

"If you are looking for a fun, quick and enjoyable read, this book is a perfect!" --Romance Junkies

Be sure to check out the new look on her website and enter the new monthly contest to win a festive feline holiday ornament along with a trio of her books!

No kidding - what's not to like about that uniform?

Actually, I got a letter from a marine today - but before you get all excited - it was a female marine, one of several troops I supported through BFS while they were serving overseas last year. She's been back in TX since earlier this year and sounds like she's doing great. Getting ready to head a Toys For Tots drive.
