During the fall of 2001, my friend Kim and I journeyed out to Pittsburg for a friend's wedding. We spent a week in the area, during which we toured covered bridges in Ashtabula County, OH and two counties in PA. This one, located in Ohio, was in worse condition than most of the others we saw. It always saddens me to see a part of our history in such ruin and neglect.
