CowParade: The Road Home

The Road Home
Location: In front of the Wisconsin Historical Society, UW Campus
Artist: Kirill Negoda
Sponsor: Capital Newspapers

I love the blue and green rosemaling effect on this one. If that doesn’t impress you, how about the fact that this particular cow was created by an 18-year old? Yes, you read correct -- Kirill Negoda is a student from Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Not bad for a kid, eh? I found a page online of the cow in progress – click here to see it.

I love these cows. My city did it a few years ago, and we still have one outside the childrens museum. So much fun!

Thanks, Jana!

Jenna~ That's cool that one of the cows from your city's event is still on display outside the children's museum. It will be interesting to see where some of the Wisconsin cows turn up after they go to auction in November.
