More Apples

A couple more of the rain-washed apples.

Yesterday's Badger game was pretty good. I say good and not great because, despite the Badgers 45-31 win over The Citadel, it was closer than it should have been. The second half was much better, what with defense finally showing up. We were on the ten yard line, which actually weren't bad seats at all--we had a perfect view for some of those touchdowns and key plays. It was excellent football weather, too. Yesterday's high was 59F, sunny, and just a bit of a breeze. My sister was complaining last night that her face hurt from sunburn, but I didn't have that problem at all. One of us was smart enough to put on sunscreen (SPF45) before she left, which protected me through most of the game. I did get a little bit of color, but nowhere near what she did. That'll teach her! *VBG*

Both our alma maters (we attended smaller, private colleges, not the UW) won in football yesterday, and the Packers beat the NY Giants today, so it's been a great weekend in football.
