1. A vacation -- a real one. Far from home.
2. A new apartment…a VERY QUIET apartment. One with no dogs romping or barking over my head at all hours. It’s not that I hate dogs, I just don’t believe they belong in apartments, especially not the second floor and when they are as big as a moose.

Two pets you had/have:
1. Female Cat, Squeaky (died in June at age 20)
2. Male Cat, Festus Hagen (disappeared when we were younger and was later found living with an elderly couple; all seemed content so we didn’t say anything to them. I'm sure he had a long and contented life.)

1. Jana (because I know she’s bored)

1. Watched “The War” on PBS (followed by the taped episode of "Cold Case.")

1. Ham (Uhh...it was turkey ham, Vi -- really. Okay maybe not, but you can pretend, right?)
2. Mashed potatoes with a bit of gravy

2. Apartment manager (about the dog that barked for 5 straight hours Saturday night into Sunday morning -- and I wasn't the first or only one to complain for once!)

1. Work...of some sort

1. Black Hills, South Dakota (camped for a week with friends)
2. Natchitoches, LA (visited sister and BIL when they lived there in 1999)

1. Christmas (peace on Earth, good will towards men...yeah, you got me -- it's really all about the chocolate and presents. *grin*)
2. Thanksgiving (Mmm...turkey and pumpkin pie!)
