Thursday Thirteen #46: Things To Do When it Snows

In honor of the 13.3 inches of freshly fallen snow – thirteen things you can do when it snows.

1. Catch snowflakes on your tongue.
2. Make Snow angels.
3. Make a snowman.
4. Build a snow fort.
5. Have a snowball fight.
6. Go sledding.
7. Strap on some skis.
8. Try out some snowshoes.
9. Go snowmobiling.
10. Take a walk and admire the snow-draped trees.
11. Go ice fishing ~ if you can find the lake.
12. Go ice skating.
13. Warm up to a cup of hot cocoa topped with whipped cream.

I'll leave it to you to guess which items I have and have not done. And you? What's your favorite snow activity ~ or, for those who never get snow, which would you like to try?

I think I'll watch you do 1-12 while I do 13 from the window. LOL Happy T13!

Speeking of windows, I keep looking out mine and thinking it looks just like at the bottom of the ski lift right now. At this stage i don't think the plows are going to bother with my street. Have they got any of yours cleared yet?

Not much snow where I live. I'd like to taste some snowflakes, run around for a while having a snow fight and then go inside for hot chocolate :)

Never seen snow, except in pics. I'd like to try some of these. :)

My kids were hoping to do several of these this winter--alas, we haven't had any snow that stuck around.

My daughter loves to do #1.

I love to do #13. LOL!

I think I've done all but the snow shoes in my Montana past. But these days, I'll settle for #13 plus a good book!

We actually had snow that stuck here on the California coast and loved it.
My kids had a blast building a snowman, snow angels and snow ball fights.
But they LOVED the hot chocolate part. LOL.

I thought we would get a lot this year living in ND and all but not so much. The cold sucks though.

I miss snow.

I've done most of those as a kid, but we're lucky if we get to see snow on the mountains in the distance here. =(

Enjoy!

Happy TT, Heather!

I think #13 is my favorite. After doing all the others (well, maybe not the icefishing), it's so cozy to cuddle up with hot cocoa with lots of whipped cream!

I do the snowflakes on the tongue thing all the time lol Would love to make snow angels but I'm too wimpy to get soaked in the snow *g*

It doesn't snow that much here. We're lucky if we can make a snow ball.

Mmmm... 13 is my favorite. Hot cocoa, a fire, a good book and snow falling outside. *nods* Nice list. Happy TT! =)
