Candle Lit

Snowing again today. I know, huge surprise. We had an inch or so overnight, and then the snow began again in earnest around 7:30/8 this morning. Major backups on the Beltline and Interstate, and accidents at pretty much every other access ramp. Why do people refuse to slow down and pay attention in conditions like this?

Coming in to work today we were going 15-20 under the speed limit and had no problems, and this is on back roads that aren't plowed as well as major thoroughfares. There were a few places we might have slid off the road, had we been going the speed limit or over. *Sigh* Stupid people.

The weather -- and consequently the roads -- is only going to get worse as we can receive around four inches of snow throughout the day and another 3-7 inches tomorrow. And, bug shocker, there are more storms lining up for the weekend. We can't seem to win!

These are a couple more cards made with Studio G stamps and DCWV designer paper. Simple designs, but cute and elegant I think. The tabs were made but punching out circles in scraps of designer paper, then cutting them in half.

Stamps: Studio G
Paper: DCWV Christmas stack
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Le Plume II markers, Circle punch

I always thought traffic on the Beltline was odd, even in good weather. People will suddenly slow down for no particular reason, setting up a wave effect that will last several minutes. To me this is very strange.

That is certainly true, and even worse now than when you lived here, even with most of the ramps now being metered. I know a lot of people who will not drive it for any reason.

{{{HUGS}}} for the weather; I know you're not a big fan of the snow. We're not getting snow here, but if it's any consolation, our temperatures have dropped about 30 degrees in two days.

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
