A birthday card for a friend celebrating today (and for those a little slow, those are balls of yarn stamped across the dark purple background). Greeting is popped up. It is the grand irony of life that, as we prepare to celebrate one life today, we also mourn the passing of another. A long-time friend of my parents passed unexpectedly over the weekend. His birthday would have been this coming Wednesday.
