CAS28 -- Masculine Cards

A few cards done up for today's "clean and simple" challenge at SCS, CAS28 -- masculine cards. CAS cards are supposed to be quick and easy cards that feature a lot of white space, few layers and little to no embellishments. I used two sets I haven't used much yet, Pines and Backwoods, both from Stampin' Up. The borders at top of the first two cards were made by alternately stamping a pine bough along a one-inch strip of kraft cardstock. For the moose card, I first stamped the right image in chocolate chip then, without reinking the stamp, stamped the second moose.

(Note: The green cardstock is NOT part fo the card, it was used for scanning purposes only.)

Stamps: Bear, Moose and Pine bough -- Pines (SU); Deer -- Backwoods (SU), Greetings -- On Your Birthday (SU)
Paper: DCWV, Wausau Paper
Ink: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green
Accessories: Ribbon (JoAnn's)

A pity the green isn't part of the card. Makes a very nice border. I really like the bear.

Love 'em! My dad would especially love the deer card. I may have to hire your talents next July for his birthday. ;-)

Alice - Thanks. I don't usually do "plain" white cards, but sometimes simple can be better.

Jana - Hehe...any time. You know where to find me. ;)
