You know, if they didn't want people to sit on them, they shouldn't have made them so sittable.

LOL...agreed! These benches seemed to be pretty sturdy, but other animals were more fragile with thinner legs adn necks that could easily snap if a kid tried hanging off them. Some of the animals have suffered "injuries," though I think peeling paint and grafitti were the biggest problems.

Can you see one of these set on the lawn or in a garden?

I think if you bought this for your personal garden, you would want to put it in a fenced in yard where it would be difficult for people to try and walk off with it. Would certainly be a great conversation piece, though.
