Nice start to the new year. Our plants are confused, hot for a couple of days then a cold front. I sure hope this is not going to be the norm for our winter.
Maggie: Thanks, I'm glad the blog is back, too, and in a timely fashion no less!
Driller: Usually, except in this case, the fern is already about five feet tall and is in a planter with a six-foot dragon tree. They won't stop growing! It's getting harder to reach my front window every week, LOL.
Susan: Plants here are becoming confused, too. We just had three days of somewhat "normal" January temps, now it's warming back into the low to mid-40s again. Weird weather! Especially after the last four record-setting winters.
Is it? Right now I think the rate of growth for the fern is outstripping both dragons. The fern used to be small and rather average looking. Now it is HUGE. It spawned a baby fern last fall but, alas, little fern did not survive. I keep waitng for some of the current seeds to take root.

Pretty H! Glad you're back online :-)
New growth is always a good thing.

Forget reaching the front window. I think your fern and dragon tree are conspiring to eat the guys upstairs. One can only hope, right? hehehe
Jana: I wish! LOL
Your dragon tree is still outstripping mine. Mine is barely up to five feet now.
