Oh! I love Dahlias. I want to plant some in my yard but that would require digging and planning and actual work outdoors. :-/

But these are super gorgeous.

LOL... Yes, it would require a little bit of work. My friend Kim bought two of these at last weekend's Farmer's Market as Mother's Day gifts for her mom and grandma.

And can I just say -- wow, you're fast today! This was barely posted before you commented! :D

Pretty! These are a lovely shade. Hubby is in to natives and plants that are fairly easy care, so I don't get dahlias. Of course I suppose I could do the gardening myself.

Shelley: Aren't these a pretty color combo? Sometimes I think I might like a house with a small yard/garden--but then I remember that I'd be responsible for the upkeep, or would have to hire someone to do it for me, LOL.

I have thought about window boxes on my window ledge, but being in a downstairs apartment, I worry about people messing with them. Sadly, some people don't seem to believe in teaching their kids to keep hands off what isn't theirs.

LOL I somehow get an email whenever you post something and I happened to be sitting at my desk when the notification popped up.

So...I'm not the only one not seriously interested in yard work/gardening, huh? ;-) I only wish I could afford to hire someone to come plant stuff and take care of it for me. I looked at Gardenia bushes Saturday and almost bought a few but then read the instructions that involved digging some serious holes and decided against 'em. lol

Jana: You can set it up in your controls to send a notification email to friends and family, so I did that for you and a couple others. :-D

And no, not big on doing yard work, lol.
