Snow, snow snow!

We finally had our first snowfall of the season this weekend. It was really coming down when I got up Sunday morning, and continued steadily through most of the day, leaving 2-3 inches across our area. It was a heavy, wet snow just right for making snowmen and staging snowball fights--but a literal pain in the neck (and back!) for anyone who had to shovel. Hope it sticks around a few days!

I'm so glad we have sunshine, although your picture makes the snow look pretty.

Thanks, Shelley! Mostly cloudy and cold here the last two days, but it is awful pretty -- at least where traffic and dogs have not been. ;)

We got the flocked tree look going right now. It was pretty a couple of days ago when it first fell, but I was too busy to get out with my camera. Now it's nothing much to look at, just gunking up the roads.

I managed to get a few pics yesterday, but not near as many as I would have liked. Maybe after the next snowfall...

I'm envious. We have had incredibly warm weather for the first part of December.

Anita: We've had a mild December here as well. Just last Monday we set a new record high of 65F. Looking out the window now, it's hard to believe that was only a week ago.

And, while we had 3.5" here in Madison, and they had snow up in Green Bay and across northern Wisconsin, Milwaukee set a record yesterday of 280 straight days without a measurable snowfall. Crazy!
