Thanks, Shelley! All but one ornament and the angel on top are handmade--most by me, but some by family and friends, too. The flocked Santa was my very first ornament, a present from my maternal grandmother, and that's the only reason a store-bought is allowed on this tree.
So pretty! I love that all of your ornaments are homemade. I have quite a few that my grandparents made and a few that the kids have done for me over the years but I also have tons of bought ornaments that I love, too.
I finally got my tree up and fully decorated. It only took me three days of procrastination and two days of assembly to get it all done. haha As soon as blogger gets over its snit with me, I'll post photos on zee blog.
Jana: Thank you, I love making and receiving homemade ornaments. I do have a bin in the basement full of all the collectible Hallmark ones bought or received over the years. Maybe someday I'll a big tree again that will hold them all. For now I'm happy with my little one.
Your handmade ornaments are lovely and I am sure that they bring back memories each year when you hang them on your tree. Thanks for stopping by my site.
Janet: Yes, there are many memories associated with some of the homemade. Sometimes I make a special one because of an event, sometimes receive special ones from friends. Sometimes they bring back memories of friends not seen in years.
Thanks, Tania! My front room is definitely looking festive right now. *g*
