Joyce: Thank you! ☺

Hi Joy! These are all common to prairies, so may indeed be out of your range. Thanks for visiting--I loved your statues!

Ah, Lupine. That's the name I ws trying to remember. I walked past some in a neighbor's yard recently.

I love the Eastern Shooting Star.

Kristin: Thank you!

Patricia: Thanks! Our growing season is a couple weeks behind here, due to a long-lingering winter and a cool spring, but stuff is finally starting to bloom.

Jeannie: I've enjoyed learning the names of and to identify some of our native wildflowers the last few years through guided walks at the Arboretum. There's always something new to learn, even when you've been on the same tour before. ☺

Alice: Don't you hate it when you know you should know the name of something, and can't remember it? It took me quite a while to remember what the shooting star was called, lol. I'm still trying to identify a couple others I saw that day. :-\

Thanks, Veronica! The wild lupine is always so plentiful and easy to identify.
