Madison B-Cycle is the city's bike-sharing program since 2011. There are currently 35 kiosks around town with a total of 350 bikes available for short-term rental. The program encourages residents to bike short distances instead of driving. Bikes are provided by locally owned Trek Bikes.

It's a great idea, hope it's successful! :) Danica
Oh I like this shot! (and the program)
Jessica: It seems to be an idea gaining in popularity, especially in big cities.
Danica: I too hope the program is successful, and that more people will consider riding bikes rather than driving those short 1 to 2 mile distances.
Beth F: Thank you! ☺
Nice shot!
Thanks, Anita! ☺
I wish the program had been running when I lived there. Then again, I had my own bike that I practically lived on.
I have my own bike, too, though I don't ride it nearly as often as I should. I think this is a great program, though, especially for students or visitors in the downtown area.
