Random Photo: Wildflowers

From the archives -- I took these back in July 2012. Can't wait to see them in bloom again!

Makes me feel all dreamy with spring fever.

Stewart: Yes, officially spring arrives this week, though it's hard to tell by the weather.

Colleen: Doesn't it just? *G*

I'm with you. A bit of green (and yellow) about now sure would be welcome. I get so tired of mud.

Wild flowers are so pretty!

Alice: At least we can finally see some mud, as the snow slowly recedes. Of course, now there is possible flooding to worry about. :-\

Shelley: They are indeed! ☺

I worried about that for about half a second, then decided that there was enough of a rise that I didn't need to worry.

Down here Mother Nature is being a tease. It's sunny, warm and lovely for a couple of days then BOOM! Wet, cold and dreary. Things are starting to bloom, though, so I'm hopeful that spring will stick around soon. Hope it comes to see you soon, too!

Alice: That's one thing I like about my current apartment. The old one was on the side of a hill and basement storage lockers would flood every spring. Have not had that problem in two years, though one end of the front walkway floods if we get heavy snow melt (like last week) or heavy rain.

Jana: Yes, Mother Nature has been teasing us as well. 52 one day, then 25 two days later. It's been cold several days again, but warming into 40s and possibly 50 for Friday -- but then the temp is supposed to drop again over the weekend. At least much of the snow is gone now.

We used to live across from a parking lot that would flood. That was great fun. The kids would go over and splash around or ride their bikes through fast enough to get a rooster comb.
