I haven't read any of those, but I do generally enjoy Nora Roberts and Kay Hooper!

The latest things I've been reading...I read the entire Max series by James Patterson, and I'm reading Promises in Death (I think), by JD Robb.

I love Charlaine Harris, but the artwork on her covers . . .I really wonder what the editor was thinking.

Happy TT.

Maya - I've never read patterson, though my one sister seems to love him, and have shied away from the In Death books. Love Nora, but that series just hasn't interested me.

Janice - LOL...I actually kind of like the quirky artwork. It's better than the "True Blood" covers some of the books have been given.

I'm currently on Definitely Dead in the Southern Vampire Mysteries. LOVE that series! I'm also trying to finish Wicked, and Voyager, the third in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Both are wonderful books, but much harder reads than SVM. I am looking forward to the new Hannah Howell novel, though the name escapes me at this time.

Devilish - I'm currently in sulk mode that I have to wait until next spring for another full-length Sookie book, though there is an anth. out this Oct containing all the Sookie shorts that have appeared in various other anthologies. I also loved the first three "Outlander" books; I really need to catch up on that series!

I just finished listening to Angels and Demons on audio and really enjoyed it! Fun list!

Currently I'm reading Cloud Mountain and trying to finish Three Cups of Tea!

I've read quite a few on your list. I'm reading Bad to the Bone by Jeri Smith-Ready at the moment. I like her take on vampires.

I just read another book by Elizabeth Berg--"The Art of Mending", but some of these other books look interesting. Thanks for sharing.

What did you think of "Angels and Demons"? I didn't think it was as good as DaVinci, but it was sure better than Brown's "Digital Fortress".

So, I take it Charlaine Harris is good?

I just picked up Jane Austin's Book Club one. Somebody recommended it to me. I've been reading a ton of stuff. I'm in a vamp/were/dragon/ kinda mood these days.

Happy T13

Sherilee - I've heard a lot of great reviews on Three Cups of Tea. Might have to check that one out!

Shelley - You know what they say--great minds think alike. *g*

Adelle - Binchy is one of those authors I've been meaning to read but haven't...yet. I een have a couple by her somewhere in the TBR mountain. Too many great authors, so little time...

AD - Thank you! (Feel free to borrow the idea)

Harriet - Thank you.

Annie - I think Nora appeals to a great many readers. There's romance, there's suspense, there's para and, as JD Robb, there's SF/fantasy as well.

Brenda - The Art of Mending was a good Berg book. I'm still slowly making my through her backlist, plus have her newest to read yet as well.

Jennifer - I think I liked A&D equally as well as DaVinci. I liked the story crafted around one artist's work. Have not read anything else by him, though the newest sounds intriguing.

Alice - Yes, Harris is really good. I loved the Sookie Stackhouse books. I can't believe we have to wait until may for the next one. (scowls) So far I've only read one book from her other series, but do have more of those to catch up on. Don't be surprised if a lot of Harris shows up the next time I do one of these. LOL

Mary - I picked up The Jane Austen Book Club on recommendation, too. Have not yet seen the movie, but think it will be interesting to see how it compares to the book.

Paige - They were! Check some out for yourself! ;)

Wow! You've been busy. I love Nora Roberts books.

I just finished a book called "No Angel" by Penny Vincenzi. That was really good.

Happy TT!

Sue - Yes, well...as mark Twain said, the only thing worse than the man who cannot read, is the man who can and doesn't. I am a confirmed bibliophile, and not ashamed to admit it. *grin*

I have not heard of Penny Vincenzi--thanks for the recommendation!

I'm so jealous you've been able to read that many books. Great list! I may have to steal some.

My husband is reading the Charlaine Harris books, and we're both huge fans of the HBO series True Blood.
