This is what we saw:
Naturally, I had to get a closer view. It turns out the cow — a remnant of CowParade Wisconsin — is perched on the back of the Madison Children's Museum. The museum has two levels of rooftop gardens, and this was the view I saw as I walked up the hill towards the cow:
And here's a closer look at the cow (read more about him here: Marbelized). Check out that blue-blue sky behind. It was a perfect spring day: warm and sunny with just a hint of a breeze.
Here's a final close-up of the lower rooftop garden — I couldn't get a good view of the top garden from street level.

Well, I think it is a fine looking cow.
Yogi: One might even say Marble-ous, eh? Thanks for visiting! ☺
Wow... in the first pic it looked like a real cow...
Pixellicious Photos
Hahaha, the cow looks real in your first pic. Great shots!
It isn't everyday one sees a cow standing atop a building!!! Mickie :)
I like the very first photo of the cow. It looks as if it's just hanging out.
Kalpesh: It does look rather realistic, doesn't it? *G*
Lina: Thank you! ☺
Mickie: Not unless you're in Wisconsin anyway, LOL. : D
Shelley: Thank you -- easy to see why I had to photograph it, no? ☺
...it looks so REAL!!!
Ah, the Children's Museum. I have the same angles, only taken on a rainy day.
Love! :-)
Funny cow, looks lost on the first photo.
A cow! How fun!
Anni: Doesn't it? We had 100 of these life-size cows around town one summer. They were fun to see and photograph.
Alice: Fun! I bet he looks even more lost in the rain. ☺
Thanks, Jana!
Christian: Thanks. Do you think she wonders how she got up there? ☺
Rebecca: Isn't it fun(ny)? :D
I wish. No, it just looks wet.
Alice: LOL... ☺
